EDT is dedicated to providing advocacy and support for individuals and families affected by eating disorders. We strive to create a supportive community and raise awareness about the challenges faced by those with eating disorders.
Research
Our team promotes the conducting of research to enhance understanding of eating disorders and their impact on individuals and communities. We collaborate with experts and policy makers to raise awareness through educational initiatives and advocacy efforts.
Education
We engage in community outreach programs to educate the public and promote early intervention for eating disorders. Our goal is to reach those in need of support and provide accessible resources.

Meet Our Team

Kimberly
Kimberly is a dedicated advocate and leader from Central Texas with a strong foundation in public education. Her diverse professional journey spans both the profit and nonprofit sectors, where she has made significant contributions as a leader of three
national nonprofits. Kimberly is known for her expertise in program development, organizational startups, and restructures, as well as her skills in board member recruitment, fundraising planning, crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and advocacy.
She holds a Bachelor of Science from Texas State University and a Master's Marketing Certificate from Southern Methodist University. Kimberly has specialized knowledge in eating disorders, which has led to her participation as a speaker at various
conferences and appearances on television and radio platforms.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Kimberly is passionate about legislative efforts that
enhance the well-being of all Texans and deeply values her time spent with her family
and their three dogs.

Hayley
Hayley is a Licensed Professional Counselor, and she holds a Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree from Lamar University as well as a Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. She is currently the Clinical Supervisor at Texas Health Behavioral Health Plano Seay Center.
She previously held a position as the Community Outreach Manager for the Texas Eating Disorders Association and has almost 10 years of experience working in the mental health and nonprofit settings. She is passionate about spreading awareness about eating disorders and lifting up the voices of those who are struggling.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, cat-sitting, and fostering kittens through a local cat rescue.

Emilie
Emilie DeWolfe is a Licensed Professional Counselor working with Embodied Counseling in Plano, TX. She holds a Master of Counseling degree from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from UTD.
Emilie has worked in a variety of environments serving those with eating disorders and trauma for the past 8+ years, including residential treatment centers, non-profits, and in private practice.
Emilie has a passion for advocacy in eating disorder care, anti-fat bias work and body diversity, LGBTQ+ issues, and fostering safe spaces for all people. In her free time, you’ll find her enjoying a fantasy novel, spending time with loved ones, or finding an animal she can pet.
